How to create a Swap Event?

Ready to dive deeper into Snail Mail Friends and host your own swap event? Whether you’re organizing a regional gathering or an international exchange, here’s how to set up your event:

1. Navigate to the featuring events section: From the main menu, go to [Featuring events].
2. Access the events section: Find the [events] section and click [create new event].
3. Choose your event type: You’ll have three options:
   • Regular event
   • Tag You’re It!
   • Round Robin
   Select the option that best suits your event. For more details on these types, see event swap options.
4. Fill in event details: Enter the title, description, date, time, and any other relevant information to help participants understand the event. If you add an image, ensure it’s copyright-free. For large images, you can compress them using Compress JPEG.
5. Review and publish: After entering all details, review your information, then click “Create event” to make it live.
   • Note: For regular events, you have a 30-minute window to make edits after publishing. If further changes are needed, contact us, as no edits can be made once an event is live. This applies to all swap event types.

Once published, your event will appear in the events section, making it easy for members to view and join.
