Hi
I'm new here and have a quick query.
I noticed that in the standard swap setup that in the case of an odd number of signups, the newest participant is removed from the list. In this situation, is the swap credit that was 'spent' refunded ?
Similarly, in the situation you may have joined then subsequently remove yourself from a swap prior to the final sign-up day, do you then lose that credit?
Thanks in advance for any clarification you can offer!

Hi!
Yes, in a standard swap, the number of participants must be even because each person is directly paired with someone else to both send and receive. If there’s an odd number of participants and the host can’t find one more person to join, the last person to sign up will be removed.
In a random swap, the process works differently, so the number of participants doesn’t need to be even. Instead of being paired with one specific person, each participant sends to one person and receives from someone else entirely. This setup means the group can have an odd or even number of participants without any issues.
If for any reason you experience an issue with the process, whether it’s related to the swap or a credit that wasn’t properly refunded, just let me know, and I’ll make sure it gets sorted out for you ^_^
